DOES ANYONE KNOW MY HORSE

hi does anyone know my horse a is a 3 years old but on passport they said he was 4 he has a netherlands passport but he has a belgian chip number 981100000593557 he was brought over from abroad to england in march he is 16.1 grey with a bit of pink on him would love to know who bred him the name on the passpot is d deruyck from kluisbergen i know this man is a dealer.

I have also just got a horse with similar details on the passport...same name of D. Deruyck and bred in Kluisbergen but  with a Dutch passport.  He was passported on 13/08/08 so isn't long in this country.   I got him from a local dealer here in South Lanarkshire who I know brings them over in the lorry load, poor things.

Mine is a 15.2 apaloosa who is meant to be 5 but is also thought to be younger.  he is very, and I mean very, nervous and hates being in (dances, shouts, windsucks..you name it he does it) but he seems to be quite well broken underneath all his worries and leads like an angel. Getting him from the dealer here (who is also a bit of a shark!!) I had my work cut out anyway but I will give him the time he needs to come right...well I'll live in hope anyway.

How have you found yours...is he nervous and how is he in traffic etc.  I think with any young horse it just takes time and bonding etc.  Also shoes...mine has front shoes on but is refusing to lift his hind legs...is yours similar?

Funny thing is I saw your photo was called Mikey....is your horses name Michael on his passport because that's what mine is too...bet all of his horses are called Michael  so we both now have horses called Mikey...ha

hi mickey is a complete dope on the rope you could stick a 3 year old on his back and would not do anything he is a gem to groom he is very quite alround and  now 16.2 and only 3 i wounder what height he will make.

sounds as though yours has been bullied on the ground but its good that you can ride with know problems .

yes funny that all horses imported are mickey isnt it.
