Joint Ill

My 5 day old colt has joint ill, started on Naxcel at two days old when noticed to have swollen joints with some heat in them.  At 3 days old, 3 joints had small lesions on them. Now, they are completely open, oozing pus, about 3X4 inches... I am lavaging with wound cleanser, and wrapping twice a day or as needed to keep wounds clean....anything else I should do????
