Limited Edition Hatch Show Print
The 3rd Annual National Day of the Cowboy, July 28, 2007, passed unanimously in the United States Senate. It has also been proclaimed by the governors of Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas, Maine, Wyoming and Georgia. Your purchase helps us continue to work to see the Cowboy Day passed permanently by the U.S. Congress and to promote the preservation of our western heritage.
The 2007 Hatch features exclusive, original art, "Trick Roper," by Texas artist and rancher, Teal Blake, which he generously donated to our organization for fundraising purposes. Each year we will create a new commemorative poster featuring Hatch's vintage type paired with original artwork created for us by western artists such as Jennifer Ward, Teal Blake and Zane Mead.
The 2005 Hatch celebrating the 1st National Day of the Cowboy, features the vintage wood carved art and text of Hatch Show Prints of Nashville, Tennessee.
You are bidding on a SET from the official National Day of the Cowboy series;
the 2005 and 2007
Hatch Show Print of Nashville, Tennessee has been making posters since 1879, using hand carved wood blocks and hand-cranked printing presses. Their posters are collected all over the world.
These posters are the originals in a highly collectible series.
Posters measure 14" by 22" and are on heavy stock poster paper.
The National Day of the Cowboy organization is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to contributing to the preservation of our Cowboy and Western heritage and to bringing increased awareness to the National Day of the Cowboy as first proclaimed in the United States Senate in 2005.
