RACKING/TWH GELDING
• Flashy Sorrel with a Flaxen Mane and Tail.
• Blaze with 2 matching white hind stockings.
• 15 1/2 H., 'not quite' 15.1 H.
• He has good substantial bone, but not coarse.
• Great Trail Horse. Great Overnight Camping Trail Horse.
• Rides out on the trail 'alone' and with others - no problem.
• Can ride him out from barn with stable mate and if other horse goes back
early and I stay out on him, he gives me absolutely 'no' problem that the
mare went back to the barn. He is NOT barn sour - going out or coming back.
• Ridden this past fall on a 185 horse trail ride. He didn’t care if he was in
front, back or middle. Horses galloped past him, in front and behind him,
and he was just fine. I kept him at a nice easy rack & then I enjoyed a nice controlled canter.
Not a bomb- proof 'kids' horse, but does just fine with an intermediate rider.
Just a pleasure to ride!
• Not a spooky horse to ride
• Very light in the bridle.
• Beautiful headset (nice flex at the poll).
• He has a 'look at me' presence about him.
• Looks very showy without being the least bit 'hot'.
• Walks on a loose rein, or moves along at a nice smooth gait.
• Has a smooth racking gait. Natural 4-beat gait.
• Will trail blaze (plow through anything you ask)
• Excellent healthy feet, wears a size 2, plain keg shoe.
• He was never on pads! Was shown in local shows in the past & did very well.
• Excellent for the farrier.
• Up to date on all inoculations, coggins, & worming.
• Teeth floated in August (very well behaved)
• Leads nicely and easy to brush/groom.
Hauls and loads very well; does not paw in the trailer; stands quietly.
• Ties, cross ties.
• No splints, bowed tendons.
• 100% sound.
• Bathes just fine.
Good with clippers, however, he prefers the scissors on his ears.
• Gets along well with mares and geldings in pasture & on the trail –
Does NOT kick
• EASY keeper.
• 12 years young. 'Been there, done that trail horse'
• Good stall manners.
• NO VICES.
