In Tennessee and Illinois  and in California, all places that I have lived in. Slobbers is an excessively drooling mouth caused usually by some sort of weed in the pasture. Alot of people think it is caused by certain types of clover, but I tend to think it is caused by some other weed.  Because there will be plenty of clover in the pasture and they will stop the slobbering for days and then suddenly it will be back. So I personally think it is caused by a weed that may have a short, maybe bloom cycle? Not certain if thats  it. But SLOBBERS is just that, a whole bunch of saliva all at once for days. And I mean  like cups and cups  of it drooling out of their mouths at once. It's really nasty looking, but not dangerous. (unless you happen to be bent over at the time it comes pouring out) ewwwwwwwww, lol
